Hi, I'm Mel. If you need me, you'll usually find me in front of my sewing machine, stitching up some new additions to my wardrobe, quilts or bags. I learnt to sew from my mum when I was in primary school. I picture my mum's machine as having a handwheel rather than an electric pedal, but I think that might be me putting a romantic spin on things. Regardless, I love making hand sewn items - particularly for other people. They make beautiful, and useful, gifts, so hopefully you will fall in love with one too.
