I'm Helen and I love making things. My daughter has provided the inspiration to get creating - she loves getting the trial runs to add to her increasing family of bits and pieces. Her friends are also an honest testing ground. If a child and his/her parents like it I know I'm on the right track.
Waiheke is a great place to be creative. We're surrounded by creative people, and beauty, and the pace of life makes you feel as if you are always on holiday!
I source materials from thrift shops as much as possible - they are such a treasure trove. I love giving fabrics a second life - they have so much mana when they have already been used as something else.
