I love the swimwear people wore between the 1900s and 1950s.
These swimsuits are so much more beautiful and flattering than the swimsuits of any other time in history (In my opinion)
With my Swanwear brand I aim to recreate the flattering lines, the playful, fun and sexy bathing beauties of these periods using new fabrics that last well in chlorine.
I worked for many years making costumes for film and theatre and for years I entered ( and won some awards) in the 'World of Wearable Art Show' (WOW).
Now with two young children, who I also love to spend time with,
I have narrowed my workload down to focusing solely on my swimwear.
I enjoy every swimmer I make and am very happy to make-to-measure.
