Two jewellery artists are keen to meet you and introduce you to their passion: working with silver.
Charmayne is a traditional silversmith who loves to teach. She uses sheet silver and wire to create jewellery with a story.
Ingrid has been creating jewellery from her stone carvings and since 2006 precious metal clay has been an additional medium for her to make individual pieces. She has shown more than 700 students of all ages- most have never used the metal silver before- how to create original designs in pure silver from this contemporary recycled material.
Both artists sell their jewellery through several galleries throughout New Zealand and are looking forward to share their skills with the participants of the upcoming jewellery workshops.
