rosecraft's shop

I am a 70 year old Grandma who loves to create pretty things with a crochet hook or knitting needles.
There is only so much you can make and give away so I thought the time was right to sell a bit to keep my yarn supply going.
I would rather be crocheting or knitting than doing any sort of household chore so the more I sell, the less I have to vacuum.
My mum died in Sept 2010, aged 941/2, after having had a stroke in 1994 and she was my inspiration to knit and crochet. She only stopped crocheting, at 87, when she could no longer hold the hook.
I spent many hours, every day, with her so you might guess that I still miss her.
I can make most items to order, subject to the yarn being available and I will also offer an Acrylic or a Wool option for most things.
Of course, the price for Wool will be a little higher than Acrylic but sometimes it is well worth it.
There are some fabulous and interesting yarns available now so I am also willing to experiment a little with some of them.
Sometimes though, Acrylic is the most suitable for the job.
I look forward to helping you keep snug and warm for the rest of the winter and for the winters to come.
Very happy to post overseas too.
My mum had a great store of expressions for every occasion and the one I like the best is, "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get."
