My name is Felicity, I study Geography at the University of Canterbury, am a teaching assistant, and run a community engagement project called RTC - RE:_____ This City. The idea is that you fill in the blanks with whatever YOU want to add to Christchurch - a bit of redecorating, or rethinking? Maybe some reclaiming, some reframing, some rediscovering or reconstructing...

The project started as a simple interactive guide book prototype for Christchurch, but it has expanded to so much more, and has lead to me recently incorporating my local publishing company RE_Edit Ltd. RE_Edit is all about helping people creatively connect to their places, and to each other. Having grown up and lived all over the world, I'm a firm believer that communities are stronger where they create belonging - and that's what I'd like RE_Edit to help with.

In my spare time (with two jobs, running a business, and studying full-time there isn't a lot of it!) I love reading, photography, painting, sketching, windsurfing, hiking, chess, running, swimming, and taking my friends on bike-share tours of Christchurch.
