Hi I'm Jasmine Horton, I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts - Visual, from Northtec in 2006 and had been working at a local graphic design and print shop since September 2005. In my role as a graphic designer I got to learn the in's and out's of commercial print and boutique wedding stationery design and my love for paper, print and design flourished, hence the name Paper Love. With the arrival of my first child in October 2006, I decided it was a great opportunity to start my own stationery business from home and the rest is history. In 2010, I fulfilled one of my design dreams and purchased a 1952 Hiedelberg Platen Printing Press, this machine is part of the new plan for Paper Love, to start creating lovely letterpress prints and I am currrently learning how to use the vintage press. In 2012 my love for letterpress led me to a part time position as a Fine Art Print Technician at Te Kowhai Print Trust where in my free time I get to make art. This Felt store is where you will find all of my creative endeavours in printmaking and stationery design. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
