I’ve been a fabric lover ever since my mother took me to my first visit to a fabric shop. Much to her exasperation I couldn’t keep my sticky little kiddie fingers off the stuff. Things haven’t changed except my fingers aren’t sticky and I’m all grown up.

I get enormous delight creating lovely things for people and being a bit of an ol’ sentimentalist I totally ‘get’ why it’s hard to throw clothes away that have special meaning. But it does seem an awful shame to have them hanging dormant in the wardrobe. That’s why I decided to make memory bears. These cuties won’t get lost and neglected in a dark lonely wardrobe. And they have cuddle appeal too. I mean, imagine what your friends would say if they caught you cuddling an outfit. But it’s perfectly acceptable if it’s a bear. Thank goodness for that!
