May you always have a leg to stand on.

I live and work in Christchurch, New Zealand. For over a year our beautiful city has been shaken by earthquakes. My work draws on cultural heritage as a source of strength to convey a message about resilience that appeals across geographical boundaries. My father's side of the family came to New Zealand from the Isle of Man. The symbol of the three legs has travelled - in doing so it has grown and taken on new meanings.

In the massive February quake that rocked Christchurch I had work in three gallery outlets and a major exhibition of over 20 pieces at the Dux de Lux restaurant - all were damaged. I am now back on my feet . . . your support is invaluable.

I have decided to move the Isle of Mann photo blocks to www.felt.co.nz/shop/zealandart to keep life simple.

May you always have a leg to stand on. Regards Stuart
