Hi, I’m Aimee, I live on the beautiful Kapiti Coast with my husband and 3 girls.

My love of sewing and creating was sparked again when my lovely mother brought me a trusty Bernina sewing machine when my oldest daughter was a baby. My mum taught me to sew when I was a young girl and I did sewing in high school. My babies were all very spilly babies so I made alot of bibs!

Over time, and as my girls have grown I have enjoyed learning different sewing techniques and creating items for my children to wear. So much of being a mum is endless, the washing, dishes, school runs, lunches etc etc... sewing is my creative outlet, I get to do something I love and see a completed creation. This gives me joy!

I enjoy working with new and pre-loved fabric and materials. I love a good upcylce, bringing new life to used fabric and materials makes me happy. And I feel like I’m helping just a little, to reduce waste in our world.

Currently I have a love of all things vintage, there is such beautiful workmanship in vintage linen. I have quite a collection of doilies, vintage tablecloths and sheets that I am just itching to work with so watch with space!
