No art director is harmed during the production process.

Hi. This is Ayca. A copywriter from Istanbul. I like falling in love, quitting my job, moving in to New Zealand, and settling in Kaikoura with my handsome Kiwi boy friend. But I don’t like getting frustrated about what to do now, I don’t like filling notebooks with ideas just for the sake of filling notebooks with ideas, and I also definitely don’t like feeling alone. So, on one of those days, I started talking to myself:

- Hey, why don’t you start your own design company?
- I am not a designer.
- But you got lots of ideas.
- Maybe. But I am not a designer.
- All your life you worked with great designers.
- This is how I know I am not a designer.
- You can ask Asiye and Seda.
- Ask them what?
- To design your ideas.
- I don’t think they have time at the agency.
- At least would you please ask?
- I will think about it.

Then I asked. Couple of months later. And they said yes. On the very first day. So I started sending them what I have in mind by signing it “Now this is literally yours to design.” And they sent it back: “Now it is literally yours to do it, to play with it, to screen print.

Then came our company: Literally Yours Limited. Do not let the name misguide you. We don’t let anything limit us; neither in Istanbul, nor in Kaikoura. We always have a room for creativity, in our houses, in our offices, even in the fish & chips shop I work part time.

All our lives we worked for our clients, doing ads for gsm operators, automobiles, banks, you name it. They were hard to please. But it is harder to please ourselves. We only do things we would love. And whatever we do is also literally yours to love.

If you want, you can read us on www.literallyyours.com; tweet us on twitter.com/LiterallyYours; like us on facebook/ltrllyyrs, drop an e-mail to hello@literallyyours.com, or if you are passing by Kaikoura, you can even visit us at 1 Brighton Street because our studio is also Literally Yours!

Please take care, eat your greens, never stop dreaming, and scratch your dog right behind the ears.

On behalf of the whole team...

Literally yours,

Ayca
