My mosaics use the female form to represent a goddess or analogous female deity with an individual personality or message.
Using materials like recycled china glass & costume jewellery which otherwise might be considered “junk”, is my token effort toward an environmental awareness of making use of what others discard.
The thought process when I create a piece is generally to get people questioning what the piece is about, to provoke a reaction whether slightly risqué, the intention is never to be just a decorative ornament, but for each piece to have a personality & make a statement.
Another of my pastimes is knitting. I love to combine colour design and practicality.
