My name is Wayne Costar and I have been creating beautiful carvings for around 30 years now.
I'm a bit old school in that I still like to incorporate a lot of hand work in my carving - which I feel gives a finished product that can't be matched by just machine work.
A lot of the stones I carve are completly unique being from my old days of collecting in places way off the beaten track and that gives me an extra connection with these stones.
Although jade/greenstone is my main focus I am a multimedia carver working mainly in stone.
