I have the privilege to live and work in an amazing part of the world... Akaroa on Banks Peninsula, Canterbury. New Zealand.
Always with an affinity for history, I find coins to be part of that fascination and fortunately for me having trained as a Manufacturing Jeweller and being in the trade from 1970 till early 2011, have been able to use my acquired skills to convert recognizable coins into very unique and striking pieces of jewellery.
The coin pendants are simply presented and worn on a waxed cord (supplied and fitted), the simpicity is in the presentation not in the process, which can sometimes take hours to complete and results in a pendant that is admired by many.
There are some that are more popular than others but it depends in an individual's preference, some like birds others, ships, animals, plants and trees there really is something for everyone as the designs on some coins are just stunning.
