I love designing and creating new and interesting ways with fibre, and haven't followed a tapestry pattern for decades: I'd rather create my own! When it comes to knitting, it seems to me that the pattern is just a guideline, useful for things like stitch numbers and needle size, but I add the texture, the colour combinations, the one-of-a-kind, there'll never be another like this one.

Kaffe Fassett's amazing ways with colour are favourite, and Prudence Mapstone's freeform & "scrumble" knitting gave a name and technique to some of my experiments. My felting and embroidery friends often spark ideas - they sometimes end up as knitting, or stitches-on-canvas.

Do come in and enjoy a browse! I have some more fibre art tucked away, in the hopes that a couple of Cancelled-coz-of-Covid exhibitions will be rescheduled soon; if they're not, I'll add the unique stichery to my shop.
