I have been weaving for a few years now. Since being introduced to weaving by my husband's whanau it quickly became my passion...I love learning about tikanga and traditional practices.
The 'art' of trying to bring the skill into the 21st centruy (contemporary tastes), while maintaining traditional tikanga is a rewarding challenge.
