Biscuit's fleece - medium grey/black romney hogget fleece 500g
Biscuit is Cookie's daughter, hence the name. She inherited her mother's friendly nature and strong fleece, along with her sire's striking colouring. She's quite dark with stripey markings on her face that are almost badgerface.
This is her hogget fleece, shorn a little early. Biscuit is technically a blue pattern sheep so her fleece is a mix of dark grey/almost black, and medium grey. It can be selected for variegation or carded on a drum carder to homogenise it. It's a clean fleece with no faults and an average staple length of 8-9cm.
We would recommend spinning this fleece long draw and it would be suitable for socks, hats, outerwear, blankets, upholstery, and felting. Expected yield 72%.
