Kaka & Pohutukawa is part of a series of works showcasing the beauty and diversity of New Zealand nature. The Kākā is a large, olive-brown forest parrot seen here foraging amongst pohutukawa (also known as New Zealand's Christmas Tree). Noticeable by its beautifully coloured crimson and orange plumage under the wings and belly. These parrots are social and intelligent which leads the descriptive characteristic of chattering or gossiping. A matt border with a white or timber frame would suit.
Made using high quality ink on 300gsm Advance Laser thick paper. Colour all the way to the edge.
