Ye Banks and Braes

This is an original painting done on archival paper using archival acrylics and pencils.
This is part of The Music Series – works done with great care on fragile very old family music. I was a music teacher for many years and have decided to combine my narrative works by painting onto the original music. The current series are all being done on old Scottish Music that was sung by my wonderful mother. The scenes depict the many places she sang about and where her mother originated from.
Each piece is absolutely unique and cannot be repeated and comes with a signed authentication certificate.
