Pixellated Sunset Zipped Tapestry Purse
Quirky and 100% unique, this tapestry clutch is looking for someone to love.
Constructed on a portable frame loom, and made with locally sourced fabric waste and op shop haberdashery, the body of this purse is formed by knotting satin selvedge ribbons onto a polypropylene selvedge warp (think thermal underwear, but in strips)
The tapestry colour pallette contains black, midnight blue, grey, maroon, milk chocolate brown, gold, orange, and white, and it's lined with black silk from an old shirt.
A fabric shooting star with a silver button centre embellishes the yellow and gold wrist strap. It can be comfortably worn slung from the wrist or hand, or classically clutched.
It is 20cm wide, and 10cm tall. The zip opening is 15cm.
This clutch fits my mobile phone in its case, but I have to force it. It will also hold your debit card, keys, and lippy for you.
