Mariella Necklace
A posey of Makomako flower (Wineberry), Harakeke Spear (Flax leaf) and a tiny unfurling fern.
Makomako berries were used by early European settlers to make wine, but before their arrival, Maori were using the leaves medicinally on burns, infected wounds, sore eyes and rheumatism. In Spring, bursts of Makomako flowers cover the trees in tiny white blooms, which develop into tonal pinks and claret-red.
Sterling silver Makomako flower, Harakeke spear and baby fern hand painted with porcelain paint. Suspended from a 45cm/18 inch sterling silver chain, with hook closure and Lilygriffin name tag.
Wrapped beautifully and presented in signature Lilygriffin box.
Shipping within New Zealand is by CourierPost, takes 2-3 days, and is tracked, requiring signature upon receipt of the item. Shipping to Australia is via courier at a reduced rate. Please allow 2 week + for delivery.
