Slimline Ballpoint Pen - NZ Native Rewarewa

The ideal gift !!! Hand turned ballpoint pen. Each pen is unique and exhibits different patterns in the wood grain. What you get is the one shown in the picture.

With time, the pen may alter slightly in colour due to your handling. This process is part of what we call character building of the wood.

Both ends come from the same piece of NZ Native Rewarewa wood (or Honeysuckle). The finish used on the wood is a blend of hard waxes, friction melted and soaked in the wood for durability, all the while maintaining a natural feel between your fingers.

This pen is assembled with a Copper finish Slimline (twist action, approximate diameter 9mm) kit, and has a black cartridge fitted. To replace the cartridge, simply pull apart the two halves of the pen, then unscrew the plactic end of the cartridge.

What you will receive with the pen:
- one blue or black replacement cartridge (so you get each colour to try out)
- one paper origami pen sleeve

Other pens using various species of wood will be available in the future.
