This yarn is dyed to order.
Approximately 360 metres per 100g of soft New Zealand merino with nylon suitable for knitting socks.
Suitable for knitting, crochet or weaving.
The colour base is saturated yellows and green with dark grey.
This yarn is dyed in a 12metre skein to create striped blocks of colour on socks and other small items.
Winding the skeins back into smaller hanks is quite time consuming so this procedure is reflected in the price.
These yarns are very limited. I usually use this style of dyeing for weaving scarves where the colours create interesting patterns too.
2.5mm-3.25mm knitting needle. 2.50mm crochet hook.
Machine washable wool.
