Deconstructed Star Series: Green and Pink

Hand cut leather pieces. Very lightweight necklace. The paint makes the leather pieces quite stiff, so it hangs nicely, but due to the nature of the piece, there is some movement.

Individually handpainted, first with a gesso primer, then layers of acrylic paint, and finished with layers of gloss varnish. Other pieces of the necklace are covered with fabric, then part painted and layered with gloss varnish.

Presented on a lead and nickel fine antique bronze chain (40 cm/15.7 inches long). Lobster clasp. Sits around mid decolletage; If you would prefer a longer chain, please let me know.

Dimensions: 6 cm (height) 7 cm (width)

Reverse is painted in alternating pale pink and green.
