Welcome to Susan Mackey Studios. I like to paint with professional quality acrylic paints but I also explore various media and textures. I live in Taranaki and am constantly inspired by the colours in our bush and coastline...although I have yet to paint a landscape! My style is more quirky whimsy and I often end up pairing my ideas with words of inspiration or poems that mean a lot to me.
