The inspiration for Milly Palmer came from my great grandmother Palmer. A milliner and seamstress, she worked from her beachside cottage above Scorching Bay in Wellington. I've been a craft lover and maker since I was just a wee girl, dreaming up and creating dolls clothes and toys from what I could find in Grandma Palmer's scrap basket. I make a range of toys, tea cosies, aprons and purses from new, vintage, and recycled fabrics, buttons and any other gorgeous bits and bobs I can get my hands on.
