I am a stay at home mother of two young children and together with my very supportive husband we live out on the isolated Chatham Islands. I enjoy switching off once the children are tucked up in bed and getting my felting out. I have always enjoyed crafting and being creative and can remember my Grandmother first teaching me to crossstich when I was a very young girl. It is wonderful to see my daughter showing a real interest in art and craft and wanting to learn - she wants to be an artist when she grows up!

I love anything wool and made from natural sustainable resources. My mother n law came to visit the Chathams and during her stay introducing to the art of felting. It very quickly became my new passion and Tweedledee started as a hobby to make gifts for the tourists to the Chathams. I was blown away by its success in just two months I decided to take the business more seriously. Tweedledee felted goods are now stocked in a sprinkling of stores on the Chathams and also in Mainland NZ, along with markets and selling via Felt and Facebook, my passion for creating is thriving.

My range consists of handmade felted soaps, felted fairies, felt ball garlands, felt ball keyrings, felt ball posies and christmas decorations. If you have a design idea in mind for someone special, please get in touch and I'd be happy to create something unique for you.

Handfelted with love x
