Greetings from Stillwater, Rodney, Auckland. NZ
My love of fabrics and creativity goes back as far as I can remember.
As a child I designed and made my own dolls clothes, sewing the seams together by hand. I loved making the clothes, but mostly I loved the fabrics.
As a young married, I designed and made all my own and my family's clothes. I was working in fashion manufacturing in those days, so it was easy to run something up in my spare time. I made everything - my dresses, tops, jackets and trousers. I made all my daughter's clothes, right from when she was a baby. I made my husbands suits, jackets and trousers.
In those days I worked in all aspects of the fashion trade. I was a cutter, a pattern maker and grader, a machinist. I enjoyed doing all those aspects of the manufacturing process but most of all, yes you've guessed it, I loved the fabrics.
In my 30's, my career took a different turn and I moved into an office environment. Life became different-busy and my clothes making pretty much stopped, but my love of fabrics never died.
Now in my 'not 30's' things have changed even more, so it's magical to again be working with lovely fabrics and having contact with happy customers.
Professionalism is the name of the game for our cushions.
When an order is placed and paid for, delivery happens that day or the next day, depending on the time of day the payment comes through.
I'm very fussy about the way our cushions are sent out and make every effort to ensure they arrive on your doorstep looking wonderful.
Thank you for trading with me.
Kind regards,
Julie Simpson
