Kia ora, my name is Jillaine Murray, and I create under my maker name, The Black Pixie.  I am based in beautiful Whanganui and all of my art, craft, fanciful creatures and items of whimsy are designed and handmade from scratch.  In most cases the goodies are produced almost entirely from recycled materials or by repurposing something old or interesting that I've found at the op shop. Straight lines and perfect things give me a nose bleed...beautiful things are crooked, slightly frayed, rusty, off beat or a bit wonky.
