welcome to my site...

A little bit about me - i live by the beach, with my man, 2 lovely little kids, 2 birds and a retired working dog...We have a 100yr old bach, 3 vege plots and numerous fruit trees...which is an attempt to lighten our load on mother earth.

As for why i am here, i got into craft as a child, and come from a rich history of craftswomen, mostly from Ireland...my grannie taught me to sew, and my mum to knit....and everything else grew from there really...I get most of my creative inspiration from the great Aotearoa wilderness, the beach, and my garden...

At the moment i am passionate about recycling old stuff, buttons, feathers, sewing, tinorangatiratanga, and how to live without making too much mess of this lovely planet...
