Darnick Rig weaving studio & ceramics workshop situated on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula.

On a visit to family in the borders of Scotland just a couple of years ago I discovered old settler place names & their meanings. The name Darnick Rig mean "secret or hidden dwelling on ridge of high ground"

Our home & studio are built on a ridge overlooking a beautiful estuary with magnificent views of the Coromandel so there was no name more fitting to link my past & present & start a new venture.
