For over 15 years graphic designer Nicky has worked extensively in various design environments, but it was while pregnant with her first boy in 2007 that Nicky was made redundant from her role as Art Director at small NZ publishing house.

So what next? The natural progression was to start her own business - Creative Current. Working for commercial clients both big and small Nicky also branched out into uniquely designed appliqued and hand screen-printed kids tees. But sadly this become too time consuming after another baby boy was added to the mix in 2009. And the boys grew and with each year a party was to be organised, and room adornments added, so hence the progression to selling her creations to other busy mums and dads.

So Nicky is concentrating on her core business of graphic design, along with a few added extras … of which you may find for sale here at Felt. These “extras” are always evolving so please come along for the ride.
