“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.” - Confucius

I've always liked to make things - never limiting myself to one kind of craft, I've dabbled in them all, from painting to mosaics to sewing to bookbinding and, of course, jewellry-making. I can spend hours on making something when I'm really inspired, often i can't sleep until I get it done. I tell myself that I'm not crazy, I just have an artistic temperament.

Finding Felt has been incredibly exciting, because it finally gives me an opportunity to make use of my hobbies and share them with you. At the moment I will be focussing on selling my jewellery designs, but I hope to add other kinds of items to my shop in the near future.

My jewellery designs are all about fusion - fusion of different looks and moods. I couldn't say my range has a particular "look" or "style." I find it limiting to try to stick to one theme in all my designs - I love to experiment! Some of the looks I do tend to lean towards, however, are the vintage and the romantic, sometimes with a slight gothic edge. I love to use found objects in my designs, or one of a kind beads or charms, or recycled parts of old jewellery. There's nothing I love more than browsing flea markets and second-hand shops, and some of this vintage inspiration can be found in my designs, often mixed in with a youtful, modern edge. I watch more gothc films and read more gothic novels than is healthy - so you'll see cameos, fleur-de-lis and vintage-style crosses creeping into my work too.

I'm getting inspired just writing this! Off to work on a new project...
