Welcome to my little store on Felt. My name is Melissa and I am a self-taught artist from Turangi.

Having grown up on the shores of Lake Taupō, I find my inspiration comes from my natural surroundings be it the Bird life, Rivers, Lakes, Forests or Mountains I'm always in thought of how to showcase the beauty. It isn't a secret I love where I came from.

I create in lots of different mediums but love printmaking. The combination of art and craft from sketching, carving to printing in Lino is very meditative and addictive. It is a much slower thoughtful process, combining sketches and ideas over days and sometimes weeks until they reach where I am happy to create them in hope they find their special homes.

I hope you love them as much as I do in creating them.
