After having a knitting mad Mum and a couple of crafty primary school teachers it only seemed natural that I learnt to knit! But it wasn't unitl I was pregnant with my little lady - that I realised the value of handknitted products and the importance of good quality wool.

Here started the Little Lamb idea..........

Fast forward a year and a bit and now my life is a full time Mum, part time worker (back at my 9-5 job) and the developer and knitter of Little Lamb.

I believe there is a huge importance in getting our little ones back into good quality wool - which is why I'm specialising in Newborn to 1 year old and merino wool. Also my products are things that I actually used and with the help of my Mum designed to fit the criteria of what I required it for.

For example putting strings on mittens so they can be thread through the sleeves of tops so one doesn't fall off and get lost!!!

Or the idea of making a fashionable looking vest for the wee ones. Not only do they look great and keep the baby warm but as they have a rib at the bottom they actually help in stopping clothes from riding up. In the older wee ones (3-9 months) vests are great as they keep the wee one warm in their core region but also allows movement for rolling and crawling!

Its all about experience and development.
