I am Jan.
After some painting interest at school I did nothing more until retirement. I went to classes for a while but now do my own thing and have fun along with colleagues at a painting group.
I have tried watercolour, oil and acrylic and enjoy all equally. I have exhibited locally and sold several of my works.
I enjoy experimenting, and have developed my own style, particularly with acrylics.

I have recently been making cards and pictures using the "iris folding" technique. This is very effective for making unusual visual effects. I sell quite a lot of my cards locally.
