Within the span of a few years, Laura Foote has carved out quite a reputation for herself, both at home and abroad.

Laura’s love of fashion and design then prompted her to head to Milan and embark on an Intensive Fashion and Textile Design course at the Institute of European Design.

After living in Milan, and with an internationally respected fashion qualification now under her belt, Laura headed to London.

Laura started a work placement with up and coming British designer Jo Sykes. Laura was able to work through a full fashion collection then she headed for Guangzhou, China for 6 months.

Back in Auckland, Laura’s label Elle Elvish, is inspired by her adventures abroad and love of handmade treasures. All the pieces are individually handmade using centuries-old hand skills infused with a modern take. You are not just buying an item; you are buying a piece of the artist. You are not just a customer; you are a supporter, a fan, a collector of art.
