My love for plants led me to macramé during the first Lockdown in 2020. It all started with plant hangers and from there I was hooked! Macramé is such a versatile medium and has been around since forever. I enjoy making functional pieces like soft toys hammocks, plant hangers, and any household items really. However, my favorite would be wall décor such as large macramé wall hangings.

La Belle Cordiere was actually a poetess from my hometown, Lyon (France), back in the sixteenth century. She was from a rope maker family and I thought the name was fitting for my business.
