I love making art that explores my fascination with lost or discarded objects - vintage treasures that have a story to tell if only some one could remember it.

My work is either purely photographic or it incorporates my own original photographs into mixed media artworks.

My photographs are of carefully assembled tableau's, objects juxtaposed and combined to tell a story. Sometimes I know the 'true' story behind these objects, but more often than not my imagination fills in the blanks.

Using mixed media adds another dimension to the story. I layer up my canvases with vintage papers - old sheet music, postcards, letters etc and blend this all together with my photographs and paint. The result is a richly textured art work offering a glimpse into the life of another through the objects they once owned, used or treasured.
