Capturing the luminosity of life with natural precious gemstones, gold and silver.

As a beekeepers daughter, my childhood memories are full of flowers and insects and adventures to isolated places. I was lucky enough to gain an apprenticeship in gemstone setting straight out of school and promptly set gems professionally, for New Zealand’s top jewellers for the following 18 years. This highly specialised focus has given me a keen eye for intricacies. My inspiration comes from the natural world around me which is currently the wild west coast forest, rivers and seas. I live in 2 solar powered tiny homes, in the middle of a rimu, kahikatea and kamihi forest. My daily routines are well and truely based in nature, so my jewellery designs stem from this natural beauty. I use solely natural gemstones and the precious metal I work with, also comes from the earth. The tools I use are old fashioned hand held gravers, requiring skill and passion to achieve designs made with soul.
Come and take a closer look and be filled with wonder at the sophisticated designs of nature.
