Gorgeous Paua & copper earrings

I have shaped & polished Paua shell into long drops and then wrapped them in pure copper wire in a delicate double koru design. I use up-cycled copper from old house wiring and it has a lovely true vintage feel
The earring hooks are surgical stainless steel so they are safe for sensitive ears.

The Paua shell is gathered from Kaikoura near where i live. The vibrant colours & pearly sheen is all natural with blue, green & pinky purple. These are a lovely combination with the copper. I use hand tools for cutting to take care of the shell and no chemical laquers or resins are used,or needed. So you & the enviroment are safe.

Measurement is 37mm long from the bottom of the earring hook, so they hang down just a bit longer than this.
They sit beautifully ,hanging forward & slightly outwards to catch the light. Paua shell is difficult to photograph and I use only natural light to show a true representation of the colours in the shell. They tend to look better in real life than in the pictures, so you wont be disappointed.

Earrings will arrive in a lovely organza gift bag ready for giving or treating yourself.

I use NZ Parcel post which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive within NZ. Items are covered by insurance if you choose the tracked postage option for NZ, but not with standard post. Overseas parcels are insured and can take 2 weeks to arrive.I do take all care to pack them safely.
