Pā o te hā means 'meeting of the life essence'.

This is a collaboration between me and my daughter Ariana (Ngāti Toarangatira, Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāpuhi)
The pattern was inspired by a combination of kowhaiwhai (Māori painted ornamentation) Norse and Celtic knotwork designs and represents the coalescence of her Māori and Pākehā ancestry.

The runner measures 78 x 36cm and sits beautifully on a table or sideboard.

The original artwork is printed onto fabric using colourfast pigments and combined with fabric and woven matting to make this unique piece. Available in red, green or gold or can be custom made to suit .
