This salad green adds a zesty, peppery, (some say mustardy) flavor to any salad. It’s also lovely in sandwiches or strewn on top of a pizza just before serving. Rocket and balsamic vinegar is a match made in heaven.
Rocket can be grown all year round and is a cut and come-again green. It likes constant moisture – if it dries out it will bolt to seed.
Plant in spring, summer and autumn (for a constant supply) in rich, well-drained soil. Can be sown direct or in seed trays.
