'Canoe' Vessel in Recycled and Black

These are canoe shaped ornamental vessels made entirely from...cardboard!

They are simply constructed from individual slats of card which fan out to form a canoe shaped vessel or cask when opened out, which is balanced in shape and proportion, and beautifully serene and harmonious to look at.

The design is simple and elegant, and based on the principals of minimalism which combines form and function.

The basic, unrefined qualities of the cardboard lend an element of warmth and simplicity, and the neutral colours coordinate with many different colour shemes.

This vessel is toned in recycled/unbleached paper pulp (a pale flecked grey) and black shades, and may be opened to display the colurs in either way. The cardboard and construction are sturdy enough to withstand movement and reconstruction, so each vessel will last a long time.

Each vessel comes flattened down inside a cardboard tubing container for storage, so you can pop out or put away as the whim takes you.
