I've used oil paint to paint the tui on the flax kete, combining two kiwiana symbols.
It looks cute hung on a door knob or simply pinned to a wall. You could even add to the look by inserting
perhaps feathers to the inside of the kete so that they show at the top.
The Kete measures approximately 110 by 950mm not including handles.
