Friendship House Rules Knick-Knack

Friendship isn't a big thing ... it's a million little things. This rustic quirky decoration will be a lovely addition to your home, or a gift for a special friend to remind them how special they are to you. This piece is 'perfectly imperfect' because life is definitely like that ... who doesn't have experience about that! This piece measures 36cmW x 17.5cmH x 4.5cmD.

The idea for my 'House Rules' came from a workshop I attended several years ago and I have created a House Rules Collection, with a rustic European village scene, quirky decorations and a meaningful saying or thought. I make similar items but each one is unique in its own way. Our spare bedroom is my craft room, my happy place. I just need to make sure I don't leave anything out that might appeal to a nosy miniature schnauzer called Jock, who rules our lives.

My husband is a builder so I picked up left over wood from around the building site when he was building our forever home in beautiful Tasman, looking out to the Tasman ranges. I had no idea what I was going to do with the timber, but knew I could make something meaningful with the leftover timber pieces. Not only am I making beautiful items with love, I am recycling as well, which is always a good thing.

I have four of my House Rules around my own home and enjoy them every time I pass that space. I hope you too will enjoy and appreciate having a House Rules in your life, or share one with someone special.
