These earrings from my French Country Collection have a timeless feel to them. A pretty pair of baroque pearl, stardust metal and Austrian bicone crystal bead earrings, on small silver lever back earwires. For several sets, we would need four weeks start to finish, a flurry of images sent by email or text, and if you like, a video call or a workshop visit so you can view pearl, crystal and ear wire options. This project will be my priority.
I can make bracelets and ‘Choker’, ‘Princess’ or ‘Matinee’ length necklaces to match, these sets are $185. (Please see my other listing). Email me as soon as you can so I can check that I have the numbers you need. For several sets, we would need an initial enquiry, a flurry of images sent by email or text, and if you like, a video call or a workshop visit so you can view pearl, crystal and ear wire options. Then once you approve the project, it will become my priority; allow four weeks total, parcel delivered, mission accomplished, happy wedding. If you give me three months production time I can import bits and pieces and give you more choice in colours and metals.
Coming from a long line of manufacturing jewellers who originally landed in Timaru in the mid 1870s, my own family history made me curious about pearl knotting and gems. Initially, I hand-knotted necklaces for friends, that idea grew, and here we are!
Windwhistle Gems are made in limited editions. They take many a happy hour to plan and source. Then, sitting by our fireside at night, I craft pieces one by one. Each pair is the opposite of mass produced. If I wouldn’t wear it myself, I don’t make it.
Purchases are dispatched freight-free, NZ wide, bubble wrapped. Items arrive in tissue, inside a velvet pouch, or a gift box, ready for presentation.
10% of profits go to The Fantail Trust, a local initiative in native regeneration, right here in Windwhistle, in the foothills of the Southern Alps, in New Zealand.
