Prayer beads and rosaries have been used for centuries as an aid to prayer and mediation. These Serenity Prayer beads have 12 prayer beads and one larger introductory bead to begin the prayer or meditation with.
Members of 12-step programmes find these beads especially useful as the number of beads corresponds to the number of Steps in the programme, and the Serenity Prayer is used in most 12-step groups.
This unique set is made with a selection of 12 different gemstone beads, each individually linked into the strand. The beads come together at a pewter connector, leading to a long oval greenstone rest bead. The symbols for meditation with this set are a dragon for courage and an angel representing protection.
Length: approx 25cm looped.
Beads: 8mm round
Greenstone: 30mm x 10mm
These prayer beads come with a pamphlet explaining their purpose and some suggested ways of using them.
