Line of sight - small work on paper
This is an unframed mixed media artwork on Hahnemuhle Bamboo or Fabriano Mixed media heavy weight paper. The work uses paint, water soluble crayon, ink and pencil. The colours are predominantly blue, yellow, and green with highlights of bright pink and black. The work is 16x10.5cm. There is no border round the work; the title, date and signature are in pencil on the reverse.
As with my collages and daily faces, these landscapes works are a response to my inner world, my emotions and my memories. I create in series, working across multiple images, layering collage, stencils and paint, before adding final line work.
I have an Advanced Diploma of Art & Creativity (Honours) from The Learning Connection. My work can be found in private collections worldwide, and I have exhibited in Italy (2010) and throughout New Zealand.
