A beautiful Greenstone or Pounamu pendant, hand carved with a swirling Koru design, from gorgeous translucent green New Zealand Greenstone from New Zealand's South Island.
The Koru brings positive energy and connections with nature from the peace of the forest to the vitality of the Ocean waves. Koru is a symbol for renewal and growth.
It has beautiful bright green colouring and a nice translucency when held to the light. It is Nephrite Jade.

Maori believe Pounamu is a peace stone. It brings healing properties of renewal, courage, strength & justice It is known also a heart chakra stone..making it a nice gift for a loved one.

The stone measures 5.4cm or 2.1 inches across and 1.5 inches high. Hung on a black adjustable cord with slip knots so it can be worn long or short.

This piece will arrive in a gift pouch and I include a handwritten descriptive card with the symbolism of the design and the properties of the stone.
